Division One

Haydon Wick 2 Chiseldon 2
Jordan Smith(P), Yasuhiro Ohno James Lovell, Tom Davis
An entertaining competitive game with good passing football played by both sides, Chissey particularly spreading the ball around confidently. Even so, Haydon looked the slightly stronger side and more likely to score, but both sides were creating, and missing, good chances.

A fine penalty save by Chissey’s Robinson from Yasu meant the sides went in at half time goalless. Making a few subs Haydonwick gave challenges to Chissy but Chissy replied with a counterattack and well taken goal from James Lovell.

Haydon Wick got a second penalty following a challenge on the edge of the box – “surely not referee!” cried an aggrieved Chiseldon. Skipper Jordan Smith stepped up and slammed the ball past Chiseldon’s keeper.

Yasu then scored from a midfield run heading past the keeper but Chissy weren’t finished and digging in got a goal back from Tom Davis with 8 minutes remaining making the last minutes interesting.

Core Construction 4 Wroughton 4
Richie Miles,Todd Mears, Liam Kearns, Ant Jones Daryll Chambers(3),Jamie Pidgeon
Hard fought game but Core had other plans for Wroughton and in the end share the point

Lyneham 1 Old Town 2
TBC Aaron Williams, Stephen Low
Lyneham started well whilst Old took a while to get out of the blocks but when they did there were some good hard tackles and Old broke and scored past their keeper who recently made a couple good saves

Moredon 2 Marlborough Res 1
Richard Ellis, Paul Stevens Fred Hill
Very competitive game. Richard scored a superb goal with Marlborough equalizing before Paul got the winner

New Town All Stars 10 Swindon AFC 0
James Lewis(3), Stephen Jackson(3), James Aghabi, Alec Chappel King, James Bain, Daniel  Stevens
A convincing win from New Town and a long awaited result. A couple of hat-tricks from Stephen and James and even a goal from their manager James. Swindon did well but was undone from counter attacks

Stratton Juniors 1 Sports4Pinehurst 8
TBC Aaron Welland(4), Lee Davis, Ryan Welland, Johnny Peachey Score, Damian Gwazeni
Sports are aiming to win this division by battling against teams by putting their goals away quick and seems to be working. Aaron their man of the match all goals were superb
