Bassett Bulldogs Football Club was formed by Phil Harris and Wayne Matthews in 2012.

Home ground: Beversbrook Sports Facility, Calne.

Home Kit: Orange and Black

Away Kit: Green and Black.

Commonly nicknamed The Bulldogs, the team is run by a committee of Phil Harris, Wayne Matthews, Colin Cochrane, Dean Skeates and Craig Hunt.

The Bulldogs have in recent years tasted success. In the 2015/16 season, the team not only gained promotion to the SDFL Premier Division, they also won the Don Rogers Cup.

A successful season followed in Swindon’s top league, as we finished 3rd, securing promotion to the Wiltshire County Leagues; the first team in the history of the SDFL to do so.

A tough season followed, whereby the step up to County level was a step too far for a group of friends, and the committee team decided to step back down to the SDFL and build again.

A rebuilding season for the 2018/19 season is the plan, with new faces joining the Bulldogs, as we look to establish ourselves as a fully functioning football club, and one day make the step up to the Wiltshire League again.
