Blunsdon FC has been around since at least the early 1900’s but formally known as “Blunsdon United FC”. The club has enjoyed many ups over the years including promotions and cup finals but also some downs.

In 2007/8 sadly Blunsdon United folded for a number of reasons and the village were without an adult team for almost 6 years until in 2013 Dwayne Fisher approached Blunsdon Colts(the youth team set up) about restarting the adult team and under the guidance of then Chairman Ian Dowdell, Dwayne got the Adults back up and running and the whole club rebranded as Blunsdon FC (as we know them today) where the youth and adults where all under one name.

After reforming Blunsdon had a short spell in Division 1 of the Wiltshire Football League, before joining the Cirencester and District League in 2014 this was also sadly  Dwayne Fishers last season in Charge at Blunsdon due to family commitments.

So in 2015 now manager Ian Rosewell took the rains, in his first season in charge Blunsdon finished in a respectable league position and reached 1 league cup semi-final and 1 league cup final, unfortunately falling short in both. In 2016/17 Blunsdon won a league and cup double (Cirencester and District Div 2 Champions and Alexcars Cirencester Junior Charities Cup winners).
