Dorcan’s Harry Osborne with the Knock Out blow putting Chisledon out of Cup

MATCH REPORT – Away Team – Chisledon 1 – 4 FC Dorcan

Dorcan progress in the Wiltshire FA Junior cup with a 4-1 win against Chiseldon.

A slow start for Dorcan invited pressure onto the defence where Lee Witts made a great low save with his feet.

Dorcan grew into the game and their quality started to shine through! A looping header from George Bouverie-Brine set Edd Herbert running through one on one to lob the keeper with a lovely finish.

A bit of a controversial goal conceded as a swinging for arm in the face took centre half Alley Drew out of the game where the Chisledon striker James Lovell finished the one on one.

Some great play and a one two with Sean Broomfield saw Eddie Herbert through on goal again to slot the ball home for the 2-1 lead at half time.

The second half saw Dorcan starting to take control and putting in a dominant performance. A pattern of play consisting of 20+ passes saw the cross find fighter Harry Osborne who drilled the ball home top corner for his first goal in a Dorcan shirt.

With Chiseldon providing little threat going forward and any attacks that were forthcoming were dealt with by the Dorcan defence.

With the game comfortable for Dorcan, the victory was final sealed in the 90th minute when Luke Murphy got free after a defensive error and finished coolie past the keeper to secure the win and allowed Dorcan to progress into the next round of the Wilts Cup.
