FC Dorcan vs Ashton Keynes 22nd Sept 2018 MATCH REPORT

FC Dorcan 1 – 2 Ashton Keynes,

We make it 3 on the trot with a hard fought win in testing conditions against a very strong FC Dorcan side.

We battled hard for 90 minutes as a team and every single player put a shift in. First half we dominated in the opposition half, but second half we had to withstand some heavy Dorcan pressure and chances.

The first goal came in the first half via a Delroy Fallon corner, Phil Legace at the back post headed in.

Our second was midway through the second half, Dean Wilson latching onto a perfect through ball from James Lally, neatly dispatching under the onrushing keeper.

Later in the game a superb penalty save on his debut by 16 year old Harry Irving earnt himself Man of the Match and secured all 3 points. Also a mention to our back 4 of Chris Field, Rob Mant, James Lally and Dan Lye who kept Dorcans strikers at bay for a majority of the match, and Nick Gregory who worked hard up front. Every player was excellent.

We host Swindon Supermarine Development next Saturday
