Following the DCMS’s (Digital, Culture, Media and Sport – Gov.UK) newly issued guidelines for the return of recreational team sport from today, Wednesday 2nd December, your SDFL committee met via zoom last night and it was agreed that we should return to playing league fixtures this coming Saturday 5th December. The fixtures are on Full Time and each game is covered with a referee. This email is primarily to notify so you can prepare for your matches at the weekend, but as further details emerge from the CFA we will get them out to you via email and twitter.
As you were before the lockdown please take every precaution to keep yourselves and others safe-guarded from the Virus. Please use the QR codes to assist the NHS, if they have since gone missing please report it to your pitch provider.
I understand that in Tier 2 organised training outside is permitted, but will update when further clarity is received.
