Mandatory Sin Bins Training

The use of Sin Bins will become mandatory across all ‘grassroots’ football (Step 7 Wiltshire League, District, Sunday & Youth) from next season (2019/20) – an FA decision that will roll out across the Country.

The change is a temporary dismissal of 10 minutes that will be applied to cautions for dissent only, [C2].

To prepare your club and referees for this change

The County FA will conduct a joint training workshop with the Saturday and Sunday District Leagues, on Tuesday 26th March in the Towcester Suite at the Coleview Community Centre, Nythe with a 7.30 pm start.

This training has been put together by the FA in conjunction with both committees, and clubs and referees from both Leagues are requested to attend.

The training is mandatory for all clubs and will form part of the club membership requirements for next season.

If you are not able to attend this workshop yourself in March

If it turns out that you are not in direct contact with the players or don’t attend matches, we encourage you to send along a team Manager or coach to pass on the training to your players and officers of the club. If your club isn’t represented at this event we may be able to arrange a further workshop on the night of the League AGM in June.

There is no charge and should take no more than 90 minutes.

Please confirm your attendance in writing to book your place.
