Blunsdon FC have been around since the early 1900’s but we’re formally known as “Blunsdon United FC”. The club has enjoyed many ups over the years including promotions and cup finals but also some downs.
With only a few weeks before the season kicks off, Wroughton FC are on the look out for a new manager to the pick up reigns and guide their reserve team in the Swindon & District League this coming season.
In the 11th hour on Saturday morning, Faringdon had a very late drop out, and up stepped Blunsdon with both teams happy to have a game.
Priory Vale hosted Division 2 champions Redhouse FC, expecting a tough, close and competitive game on last years form.
The league is hoping to collecting a lot more of the match reports and news updates that clubs put out over the course of the season. The hope is we will be able to help promote the teams in the league as well as giving each team an online archive of all their match reports and news stories over the seasons.
