Location:

We are representing the Redhouse community in North Swindon. Playing our games on council pitches at Moredon Rec.

Kit Colours:

Home kit – Gold, Black and Black. Sponsored by Guys Barbershop.

Away kit – Navy Blue, Blue shorts and red socks. Sponsored by Flawless Floors.

Sponsorship:

We have been fortunate to have many contacts off of the pitch within the squad. Guys Barbers have been with us since day 1. Many of the lads are loyal customers. Our skipper and local entrepreneur, Ashley Waldron has sponsored the away kit. And our newest sponsor at HD jumped on board because he loves the vibe at the club and potential exposure we will bring.

Management team:

Chairman, secretary and treasurer – Chris Ricketts

Manager – Adam Ford

Assistant – Daniel Ricketts

Skipper – Ashley Waldron

Last season we struggled without a manager as more often than not, Chris and Dan were playing. Couldn’t see things from the side and make changes as and when. And Often going out to play a game without warming up or stretching. Now with our good friend Adam here, we have a structure and a plan on match days.

Key historical milestones:

Don Rogers cup 2017 runners-up. That’s about it so far… watch this space!

Previous season summary:

Last season we reached the final of the Don Rogers cup, which for us as a brand new team, was a massive achievement as we beat some great teams along the way. including North Swindon on pens in the semi-final. 120 mins with a bare 11 was a killer and one of the best games a lot of our lads have ever been involved in!

As for our league campaign, it suffered somewhat due to many ins and outs player wise. It picked up towards the end and we had some convincing wins. We didn’t take a break over summer and have continued to rack up the wins over the preseason. Playing anyone and anywhere.

Aspirations for 2018/19:

For us it’s simple. We are going to win the league. We have strengthened in areas where we struggled last season. Brought in some quality players up front and our strength in depth is incredible. In our eyes, we have 25 first team players. All will be needed to make sure we come away with silverware.

Future growth aspirations:

We want to get this team up a division or 2 and then think about bringing in a development/reserve side. We want to be the team players want to represent. But that will be a few years away. Just achieved Charter Standard certification and next step is to get the management team through their coaching badges.
