Swindon Supermarine Development Club was formed by Tony Prinzi in 2017.
The purpose of the Development team is to encourage & develop players from the youth section, together with other talented local players, into adult football and the challenges this brings.
Our ethos is to promote player development, promote team values through the Club Codes of Conduct & to encourage all players to try their best and make the most of their abilities. The emphasis is on player development, fair play and playing with the right attitude to become a better person & player.
We play on the pitch along-side the main stadium at Supermarine and train on the 3G pitch within the Swindome Arena.
Last season was our first season in adult football, where we managed to compete with the adults and maintain our Premier League status. An impressive final quarter of the season was critical to this, where we managed to win 5 out of our last 6 games.
The long-term plan now is to continue developing the players and build a squad that is good enough to progress from the Swindon & District Football League, into the Wiltshire Leagues & beyond.
