Week 19 Previews

With eight teams in cup action, there are only four games being played across the two divisions this weekend.

Premier Division

The big game in the Premier division sees North Swindon WMC face off against Swindon Centurians.

WMC find themselves in second bottom place and with bottom side Spectrum not playing, they will be looking to pull away from them. They face fellow strugglers, Swindon Centurians who sit one place above them in the league but are 6 points better off.

This is a big 6 pointer game for WMC and defeat will see them stuck in the relegation zone and with a huge battle to get out of it. Defeat for Centurians will see them dragged further in to a relegation battle which they will be looking to avoid at all costs.

In the other fixture, Sportz Central host Spitfires in this mid-table clash and with Spitfires trailing Central by 5 points, will be pushing for the win to close the gap.

Division One

Bottom club Swindon AFC will be looking to put some form together after picking points up for only the second time this season last weekend.

This is a prime opportunity to pick up 3 points and move from the bottom of the table for the first time this season, as 2nd bottom side Chiseldon, are in cup action.

Moredon are sure to be licking their wounds after last weeks shock defeat against Old Town United, after taking a very healthy 4-0 lead in to half time.

Stratton Juniors will be looking to bounce back from their last weekends defeat to Lyneham by picking all three points and leap frogging them in the table.

Marlborough Reserves won’t roll over and with two draws in their last two games, they will be confident of holding their own.
