FC Dorcan 0 Bassett Bulldogs 1
Jason Hudson
Bassett Bulldogs have moved to the top of the table after a well fought game from both sides this weekend

A lone goal from Bulldog’s Jason Hudson was enough for them to take all 3 points on offer and move ahead of Tawny Owl.

FC Dorcan tried their best to make a comeback against their opponents, but there was no getting past a very strong Bassett defence.

Dorcan remain in 4th place despite a few losses, but with 9 points between them and Deers Leap they have an awful lot to do for the rest of the season.

Ramsbury 2 Spectrum 0
Leigh Harris, Matthew Darvell
This weekend saw bottom club Spectrum travelling up to take on Ramsbury.

The first half was very closely fought, with Ramsbury managing to get the opening goal. Spectrum tried to reply but just couldn’t seem to find the back of the net.

The second half was much the same with not much between the two sides. Ramsbury then brought on substitute Matthew Darvell who scored within minutes of getting on to the field.

Spectrum then started to fall apart and struggled to get back in to the game. This will be a very disappointing result for them as to date, they have only managed one win so far this season.

Sportz Central 4 North Swindon 3
No Scorers Given Tom Ballard x 2, Jason Hudson
Sportz Central played host to North Swindon this weekend in a must win match for both sides.

North Swindon were the first to make it on to the score sheet with Tom Ballard quickly putting one past the opposing keeper. Sportz soon equalised, and went into half time 2-1 up after scoring for a second time.

The second half saw North getting two back as Jason Hudson brings the score line level once more, followed by a second goal from Tom Ballard.

Things were looking good for the second from bottom side, until Sportz hit back with two more goals with 15 minutes left on the clock.

North were unable to make a comeback and the score finished 4-3 to Sportz Central.
