The Swindon and District Football League member clubs have voted by a majority to abort this seasons league fixtures in favour of a Cup Competition, with up to 20 clubs participating.

With 6 clubs deciding to end their season now, most clubs recognize that a Cup competition was the best way forward to guarantee that competitive football can be played from the beginning of April, with a Final planned for the end of May.

The committee will meet again next week to format and discuss the rule requirements.

This means that the 2020-2021 season results will be null and void.
