CLUB SECRETARIES: Please study the Rules of the Competition, which can be located at http://www.wiltshirefa.com/cups-and-competitions/rules-and-documents. In the case of postponed matches, only those players qualified to play on the original date of the match are eligible to play. If your Club is involved in a County Cup match and your Club has a League fixture, it is your duty to inform the relevant Competition Secretary and your opponents. Clubs that withdraw from the competition or fail to fulfil a fixture will incur a fine of £75.00
NB: Referees with (YR) after their names are under 18 and the Home Club is responsible for the welfare of that referee from the moment they arrive at the ground to the moment they leave. The Home club MUST also advise the away team that an under 18 referee is officiating the fixture. A set of guidance is attached to this email.
NOTICE OF FIXTURE: The Home Club must give both their opponents and the match officials all match particulars i.e. ground address, colours, dressing rooms, and direction to the ground, at least 7 days before the match. In the event of the Away Club not be notified within 3 days of the match, it will be their responsibility to contact the Home Club and the Wiltshire FA (Football Services Manager). Clubs failing to comply with this Rule will be fined in accordance with the Fees & Fines Tariff.
RESULT & TEAMSHEETS: The result of each match (including all Finals) must be entered on Full Time by both Clubs, within 48 hours of the completion of the fixture. Clubs failing to comply shall be fined in accordance with the Fees & Fines Tariff. Each team must also submit a copy of their Wiltshire FA Team Sheet along with a referees mark to the Wiltshire FA (kate.foote@wiltshirefa.com) within 72 hours of the completion of the fixture. Failure to comply with any part of this Rule will attract a fine in line with the Fees & Fines Tariff.
MATCH OFFICIALS. Please accept appointments, by a return to Kevin Small, Referee Development Officer at Kevin.Small@WiltshireFA.com . Failure to do so within 7 days would result in the fixture being withdrawn.
Would all Referees please note that, once they have accepted a County Cup Appointment, they hold such an appointment until the match is played and a result obtained. This means that postponed matches are played the following week. Normally, County Cup matches take precedence over League matches (refer to Order of Precedence in the County Handbook). Match Officials must be on the ground at least 45 minutes prior to kick-off time. Please ensure that the full-allocated Competition time is played prior to the playing of extra time. Referees must retain the Team Sheet until 31st May in the current Season.
Referees Fees: £24.00 + 27p per mile travelling expenses
