The George Thomas\Don Rogers Cup will kick off the excitement as Premier Division sides Bassett Bulldogs and Nalgo go head to head. Despite challenging league seasons, both teams are determined to seize victory in this prestigious cup competition.

Kick off is at 10:30 at the Gerard Buxton Stadium, Royal Wootton Bassett.


Swindon District Challenge Cup

Following the George Thomas\Don Rogers Cup, the spotlight will shift to the Swindon District Challenge Cup final. Division 1 hopefuls Poulton will clash with Premier Division powerhouse Redhouse in what promises to be an electrifying showdown.

Kick off for this main event set for 14:30, also at the Gerard Buxton Stadium.


Entry to these thrilling finals is just £5, with discounted rates of £3 available for concessions, seniors, and more. Kids under 16 can enjoy the matches for free, making it a fantastic day out for the whole family.

But that’s not all – spectators can look forward to exciting halftime entertainment with cash prize draws in both games, offering the chance to win £25, £15, or £10!

Additionally, the SDFL will be giving back to the community by making a donation from the final proceeds to Prospect Hospice, the league’s chosen charity.

Hungry fans can refuel at the Bassett food bar, serving up delicious hot food, soft drinks, and hot beverages. And for those looking to quench their thirst, the centre bars will be open, although alcohol won’t be available pitch-side.
