The Swindon & District Community Football League would like to share important updates for all member clubs, covering discipline procedures, fines processes, and player insurance guidance.
Discipline Matters
With Gretchen’s departure from the Wiltshire County FA, all discipline-related issues (e.g., on-field matters resulting in cards or other charges from the County FA) should now be sent directly to: discipline@wiltshirefa.com
Please note that these matters fall under the jurisdiction of the County FA and not the SDCFL.
League Governance Fines Process
League-related charges, overseen by our Governance Officer, Conor Law, pertain specifically to breaches of League Rules.
How It Works:
- If your club is charged under Rule 6E or similar, you’ll receive a charge sheet from the Governance Officer.
- You may challenge or appeal the charge in writing—instructions will be included on the charge sheet.
- The League’s Discipline Committee will review your written challenge and make a decision promptly.
Next Steps:
- If the charge is upheld, the Governance Officer will issue an updated charge sheet detailing the outcome and any applicable fines or sanctions.
- The Treasurer will send a corresponding invoice for any fines.

Consolidated Invoices
To streamline financial processes, the League is consolidating invoices for fines and player registration fees.
Key Points:
- Statements will now include multiple charges in one document.
- The next batch of statements is scheduled for release in December.
- Transfer fees must still be paid in advance unless explicit permission is granted by the League.
Player Insurance Documentation
If a player sustains a significant injury that impacts their ability to work, the SDCFL offers support through the claims process.
Steps to File a Claim:
