Bulletin #28 – adding suspension matches to Whole Game. FA Postponements Q&A

League Postponements Q & A

I have been asked by the County FA to forward on the following answers in response to questions received by them since their announcement to postpone all weekend matches yesterday.

Q           Does this include any other football activities, such as training or coaching?

A           No, this applies only to fixtures, not all football activities.  “Fixtures” refers to both competitive and friendly matches.

Q           What happens to all other activities?

A           Participation in other activities is down to the discretion of the organiser and / or the individual.

Adding suspension matches on Whole Game.

This week the League has been working with County FA Discipline to purge off outdated player suspensions from Whole Game affecting our clubs.

So, I thought with a free weekend from playing, I would send a timely reminder of how the Whole Game suspension games should be recorded.

The League try and keep the database up-to-date, and I cannot stress how important it is that you as Club Secretary do your bit when one of your players receive a red card. Following notification of a suspension please enter the details of the suspension games on Whole Game at your earliest convenience, in full. These suspension games can be amended if any new fixtures are created or cancelled.

The guides attached are for your awareness of how Whole Game works, how the suspension games are communicated, to prevent the problem solving later, and, if followed consistently gives us all the confidence that the data we see is correct.
