I hope you are all well. The weather has been behaving itself, and given us a chance to get back to normal after many of you had a six week break.

Now that we are halfway through the league format of our cup and plate competitions several questions have been received by the committee.

At the Management meeting Wednesday evening these were discussed, and the decisions made, that supersede any previously published, and are as follows:

Registration of players closes on the 28th February 2023 (Cup and League)

As Purton Development withdrew from the Plate competition their record has been expunged. (They are continuing with their League fixtures)

Group positions will be decided by points only, and IF teams are level then a play- off will take place on 1st April, (as no score will be allocated for forfeited/awarded games)

If a club is unable to play a Cup fixture on the date stated it will result in the game being awarded to the opponents.

Semi Finals will be winner of group A v runner up group B, winner B v runner up A . With matches to be played on 15th April. Extra Time and Penalties if required?

Group winners have home advantage in the semi-finals, unless their pitch is unavailable.

Finals to be played on 29th April at Gerard Buxton Royal Wootton Bassett. Extra time and penalties if required?

To play in the semi-finals and Finals,  players must have played 4 or more matches for that team in the League or Cup/Plate to qualify

Due to time constraints getting Cup Finals information to the printer, please be prepared to supply your squad profiles, once you know that you have qualified for the semi-finals.
