BulletIn 4th July – Fake Ref, Kitlocker & Affiliations

Good morning,

I hope you are well? What a change in the weather? I know a lot of you are already arranging friendly matches so at least the rain will be helping soften the pitches. Please don’t forget your player insurance should be in date if you are considering starting again, and take a First Aider along?

Fake referee.

I have been asked to contact you regarding a Carl Potter, who is back on social media offering his services to officiate your friendly matches.  Mr. Potter is not a bona fide referee, having no qualifications, and not sanctioned by the County FA. The League strongly advise you not to engage with him.

England Accredited Awards

For those of you waiting for/or received goods from Kitlocker, it appears that data from clubs in some cases, haven’t been pulled through correctly into their IT system. This has caused a few issues with some clubs getting sent the wrong kit! The issue, raised by us, is currently being looked into by Kitlocker? If you are one of those affected, you are not alone!

Please raise any issues with Paul Hughes at the Wilts County FA

County Affiliation numbers

I am waiting on the County FA to clarify whether or not you will receive an “affiliation” number or not this year? I am very grateful to those of you that have sent me your confirmations, but there doesn’t appear to be a meaningful format when issuing you an email? It is possible of course that when Whole Game is back on line after tomorrow, things would have changed? I will advise you, once I get told what to expect?

County Affiliations

The League would like to be in a position to arrange and issue fixtures at the end of July/beginning of August very latest. This is to enable you to book pitches and Mark to allocate referees well in advance of the season starting.

Therefore, for those of you still to complete, we need you to be affiliated with your County FA’s, by the end of this month to do so.

Please let me know if you are having any issues?

Aide-memoire

Both your DBS and First Aider certificates have to be Football related, to be accepted by the FA.

You only need one certified Welfare Officer ticked, one First aider ticked, with one in date DBS, and in date First Aid Certificate attached to be able to complete your Affiliation on-line.

You can always add others at a later date.

Your football insurance (team & player) fee, is taken at the same time.
