BulletIn 9th Jan – Reminders – Rule Amendments – Welfare Officer Course

On behalf of the SDCFL committee I want to wish you all a very Happy New Year.

With temperatures just beginning to rise above zero, here is hoping for a period of drier weather to get on top of the backlog of fixtures.

Thank you for your perseverance, your resilience to all these challenges is quite inspiring. With only one outstanding Wilts Junior Cup fixture left to fit in, (the addition of the intermediate round has caused the issues, what do you think?),  we now concentrate on our own League fixture backlog, and our Cup quarter finals on the 18th January.

Part One of our season is summed up nicely here.

Reminder

Due to the disruptions, I think it is worth reminding you all of the following.

Contacting your opponents & referee 2 days prior to your game if you are the home team

It is very easy to get out of the habit, especially when you haven’t played for a couple of weeks, but please be courteous to your referee and advise him match details.

Illegibility of players in quarter finals.

Please check criteria of player illegibility now to prepare for your quarter final matches in 9 days time.

Rule amendments

Please let me have any rule amendments that you would like raised for discussion at our January Management Committee by 15th January.
