Bulletin #41 – Grass Roots awards

Good afternoon club secretaries,

I hope you are all well? Fingers crossed the snow and rain will not affect your fixtures this weekend?

I am forwarding an email I received from The FA regarding Grassroots awards. The link will take you to the page for nominations.

Grassroots Awards have been opened today and the public can nominate the clubs, leagues, volunteers and match officials that make football so enjoyable for so many people

Please note that these are FA Awards and are in addition to the awards which the Wiltshire FA are currently seeking nominations for.     https://www.wiltshirefa.com/about/grassroots-awards

Good morning,

If you would like to nominate someone in one or more of the following categories, please do so:

  • COACH of the YEAR – female, male & disability pathway

  • THE LIONESS AWARD

( for making a positive change on and off the pitch through women or girl’s football)

  • POSITIVE FOOTBALL ENVIRONMENT AWARD

All nominated people will be contacted and told that they have been put forward.
