With the Swindon and District League all wrapped up, all focus now shifts to the end of season cup finals.
This years cup finals will take place this Saturday 6th May 2017 at Gerrard Buxton Stadium, Royal Wootton Bassett and will form part of the leagues “125 Year Anniversary” celebrations.
The first cup final will be the George Thomas /Don Rogers Cup which will be contested between Ramsbury and Wroughton Reserves with a kick off time off 11am.
After the cup final, we will have some entertainment in the form of Britannia Majorettes display as well as the Legends Exhibition Match which will see a Swindon Sport team take on a SDFL heroes side. This game will be a 40 minute game and will kick off at 13:00
We will then have the “125 anniversary” speeches to celebrate this big milestone in the leagues history before the main event of the Swindon Advertiser Final.
The Swindon Advertiser Final sees Premier division champions Tawny Owl face off against Old Town United from division one and will kick off at 15:00.
The day will conclude with the end of season presentation which will see all of the league and cup winners and runners up collect the trophies.
