MATCH REPORT: Swindon Supermarine DC vs Ashton Keynes

Match Report for the match played 26th January 2019

Swindon Supermarine DC 5 – 4 Ashton Keynes

Swindon Supermarine DC had to come from behind twice before managing to take all three points in a very entertaining match v Ashton Keynes.

Ashton Keynes took an early lead, but Sam Long managed to equalise for the home side soon after. Ashton Keynes then took the lead again only for Supermarine to equalise for a second time thanks to Cameron Shrubb’s 20th goal of the season.

Supermarine then took the lead with Kyle Bowyers well placed effort before Ashton Keynes managed to draw level. Sam Long then headed home to score his second goal of the match and put Supermarine 4-3 up at halftime.

Midway through the second half, Ashton Keynes could have levelled again from the spot, only to be denied by a fine save from Supermarines No.1 Jonathan Walters. However, they did manage to equalise a few minutes later.

Then in the last minute, a final Supermarine attack saw debutant Phil Ryan grab the winner courtesy of a Kyle Bowyer assist.

Assists for the other 4 Supermarine goals were from Billy Miller & Dan Harry who both had 2 assists each.
