Newly formed New Town All Stars took on North Swindon in what was a very competitive game.
With the newly formed All Stars looking to try and gel together before the season starts, you could have forgiven them if they came out of this game with a negative score line.
That wasn’t to be the case as they managed to claim a 3-3 draw.
Allstars Stephen Jackson scored a two of his sides goals but the goal of the game came in the form of a “Scholes” like volley from outside the box from Adam Blakeman.
In a closely fought game, where both sides tried to get the ball down and play, the All Stars might have sneaked the win if they had managed to convert a penalty, but sadly it wasn’t meant to be.
The All Stars will be the happier of the two sides playing the better football over all as they prepare for their first season in the league.
