The excitement is building as we draw closer to the semi-finals of both the SDFL Challenge Cup and the GT/DR Plate Competitions.
On Tuesday night, amidst anticipation and excitement, the draw was conducted using a Randomiser App, with committee members overseeing the process.
Here are the fixtures for the upcoming semi-finals:
SDFL Challenge Cup Competition:
- Redhouse vs. Coleview
- Referee: Jeremy Moyse
- Assistant Referee: Keith White & Jake Giles
- Poulton vs. Purton
- Referee: Graham Neil Hall
- Assistant Referee: Brian Murdoch & Richard Fouracre
GT/DR Plate Competition:
- Nationwide vs. Bassett Bulldogs
- Referee: Mark Paris-Haines
- Assistant Referee: Andrew Lacy & Riley Brown
- Nalgo vs. Ramsbury
- Referee: Conor Law
- Assistant Referee: Daniel Atkin & Ted Lewis
The matches are scheduled to take place on March 9th, with kick-off at 14:00. In the event of a draw, extra time and penalties will be utilized to determine the winner.
Additionally, the home teams, as determined by the randomiser, will have the privilege of choosing the venue for their respective matches. It’s important to note that the costs of the three officials will be shared by both participating teams.
