Weekend Fixtures

Coleview vs. Marlborough Town Dev
Coleview FC are fresh off a solid 2-0 win against preseason favourites Shield & Dagger FC. After a great start to the season, Coleview are riding high with confidence thanks to their disciplined defence and clinical finishing, they are turning into a formidable force.

Marlborough secured a thrilling 3-2 victory against a Cricklade Town Res side who are struggling to get going this season. Their attacking flair and determination could be key in this encounter but they are going to face a tough challenge to pick up all 3 points.

Cricklade Town Res vs. Down Ampney
Cricklade Town Res are still in search of their first points this season and that might continue in to next week as they face the table-toppers, Down Ampney.

Ampney are in dominant form as they added to their perfect start with a commanding 4-0 win over Bulldogs last week. Having scored 14 goals in their last three games, their attacking prowess will be a significant factor in this matchup.

Nationwide vs. Chiseldon
Nationwide secured a vital 1-0 win against Nalgo, showcasing their ability to grind out results when needed. Whilst they haven’t been firing in front of goal, having only score twice in their 3 opening games, they have a solid defensive line which has yet to be breached so far.

Chiseldon reversed their fortunes from the opening game after a valiant effort last week saw them lose narrowly 2-1 to Redhouse. After failing to convert a number of changes to kill the game off after being a goal up, they’ll be eager to bounce back and display their resilience in this game.

Redhouse vs. Bassett Bulldogs
Redhouse is coming off a hard-fought 2-1 win against Chiseldon and their determination and ability to grind out results will be a significant asset in this contest.

After a tough 4-0 defeat to Down Ampney last week, Bassett Bulldogs will be determined to regroup and display their strengths, aiming to secure points and start their move up the table.

Shield And Dagger FC

Shield & Dagger vs. Nalgo Sports Club
Preseason favourites, Shield & Dagger haven’t had the start to the season they hoped for and went down 2-0 away at Coleview FC. Their confidence will have taken a dent but they will be looking to get back on track against a struggling Nalgo side.

Nalgo Sports are still looking for their first points of the season after losses to Redhouse and Nationwide but their biggest concern, is likely to be their lack of goals as they are yet to find the back of the net this season.

With every team seeking to make a statement this weekend, the Swindon and District Premier Division promises thrilling football action.

Expect goals, drama, and intense battles as these teams compete to climb the league ladder and establish their dominance!
