Haydon Wick’s Lee Gratton saw them finally slot a goal past the keeper and take the lead. Moredon kept the pressure on but just couldn’t find the back of the net.

Stratton Juniors took full control of the situation, scoring twice in the first half. With New Town being denied opportunities at every turn.

Chiseldon started well, but struggled to keep up the pace and went 1-0 down in the first half. A close battle ensued with Lyneham keeping the pressure on but struggled to find the illusive second goal.

They finally got their breakthrough with 2 goals in quick succession taking the wind out of Chissy’s sails, putting the game firmly out of reach.put 3 goals past them.

This was an important result for Lyneham and lands them in 5th position in the league.

In a very tight game both clubs came away with a point each, with Aaron Williams scoring for Old Town and Richard New scoring for Lower Stratton. This will be disappointing for Stratton as the result means they have slipped down into 3rd place.

Sport started off with a bang with a hat-trick from Jonathan Peachey-Score. Core managed to pull one back but two more quickly followed from Luke Richards putting Sport 5-1 in front .

Malcolm Cook and Ryan Welland took a goal each ensuring Pinehurst’s move up into 2nd place.

Swindon AFC still remain in bottom position despite playing well. Joshua Fisher and Callum Wells both managed to get on the score board. Marlborough equalised and it ended 2-2 draw at home to Marlborough.
