Deers Leap 3 Swindon Centurians 1
Jason McGovern, Michael Chivers x 2 Damian Smolinski
Deers Leap stay top after a hard fought match against Swindon Centurians.

They took the lead with a great strike from Michael Chivers, closely followed by another from Jason McGovern, putting them 2-0 up at half time.

The Centurians came out fighting in the second half with Damian Smolinski seeing the back of the net. Despite continuing to play well, there were one too many missed opportunities.

Michael Chivers scored again for Deers late in the second half, putting the game out of reach for the Centurians.

Spectrum 2 Sportz Central 4
Craig Kelly, Aaron Northcott No Scorers Given
Two polar opposite halves in this match, seeing Spectrum leading by 2-0 at half time with goals from Craig Kelly and Aaron Northcott.

The second half saw Spectrum fail to gain any further footing and Sportz Central taking full control, scoring 4 goals within 25 minutes.

Swindon Spitfires 1 Bassett Bulldogs 2
No Scorer Given Jamie Harrison, Jason Hudson
This was a tough match for the title chasing Bassett Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs took an early lead, with Swindon Spitfires not making it easy for them. The Spitfires managed to equalise just before half time putting the score at 1-1 and setting it up for an entertaining second half.

The second half continued in the same fashion with both teams battling hard to control the game. It was Bulldogs who finally broke through and scored thanks to a Jason Hudson finish to take the lead for the second time. Spitfires worked hard to try and find a way through a well drilled Bulldogs defence but were unable to find the equaliser and the match ended 2-1 to the Bulldogs.

This result keeps the Bulldogs in 3rd position as the race for the title gets more exciting.

Tawny Owl 5 Ramsbury 0
No Scorers Given  No Score
Tawny Owl continue on their winning streak and just don’t seem to be able to put a foot wrong with a comprehensive 5-0 drubbing of Ramsbury.

This victory puts them only two points behind current leaders Deers Leap, but with 5 games in hand, they most be feeling the title is theirs to lose.
