North Swindon 1 | Spectrum 0 |
Liam Robins | No Score |
North Swindon took the much needed 3 points in this hard fought match.
The first half proved difficult for both sides, with neither seeing the back of the net. Liam Robins took the lead for North Swindon in the second half and left Spectrum fighting for a come back. With both clubs at the bottom of the league table, it was a crucial game for the teams. Spectrum are sure to be extremely disappointed with this result as it leaves them with a massive job to do for the remainder of the season. |
Ramsbury 1 | Bassett Bulldogs 2 |
Gareth Brown | Jason Hudson x 2 |
Bassett Bulldogs are now just 2 points under Deers Leap at the top of the table after securing a 2-1 win over Ramsbury.
Jason Hudson scored both goals for the Bulldogs with a consolation goal coming from Ramsbury’s Gareth Brown. This will prove to be a disappointing result for the Rams as they remain in 5th position in the league. |
Sportz Central 5 | Village Inn 2 |
No Scorers Given | No Scorers Given |
A game of two halves, with the first ending on equal footing with a very tight 2-2 scoreline.
The second half saw Village Inn lose momentum and were unable to contain Sportz Central’s midfield. A goal early in the second half gave Central the lead and they never looked back. They put the result beyond doubt scoring 2 more goals to take the 3 points on offer. |
Swindon Centurians 1 | Tawny Owl 12 |
No Scorers Given | Anthony Pascarella x 5, Jack Allan x 4, Scott Price x 2, Ryan Fry x 1 |
Tawny Owl now remain unbeaten in 10 games as they beat Swindon Centurians in very confident fashion.
Anthony Pascarella led the goal frenzy with 5 goals, closely followed by Jack Allan with 4. Scott Price put 2 past the home team with Ryan Fry capping things off with 1 last goal. This is an excellent result for Tawny as the chase Deers Leap for that illusive top spot. The Centurians did however manage to get 1 well deserved goal. They will have their work cut out for them for the rest of the season as they remain 3rd from bottom in the League tables. |
Swindon Spitfires 2 | Deers Leap 5 |
No Scorers Given | Jason McGovern, Michael Chivers, Ashton Glover x 2 Brandon Wheatley |
Deers Leap didn’t disappoint in their bid to stay on top in this confident performance against Swindon Spitfires.
With Tawny Owl and Bassett Bulldogs hot on their heels, Deers set the pace with a brace from Ashton Glover in the first half, followed by goals from Jason McGovern, Michael Chivers and Brandon Wheatley in the second half. |
