The SDFL Needs You

SDFL Needs You

The SDFL committee are looking to add new members to the team and have a few roles available…are you able to help?

What does the SDFL Committee actually do?

The committee is made up of a number of hard-working volunteers who ensure the league is managed and run as smoothly as possible.

The committee already has a lot of experienced members but are looking to bring in some new volunteers to help with fresh ideas.

Anyone who is interested will have the full support of the existing committee and can be as active or as passive as they like initially.

All new members will be encouraged to participate in debates, conversations, and decisions about the running of the league and offer their thoughts and ideas.

What roles need filling?

The existing SDFL members will all be looking to retain their positions for the forth coming season.

Election, and re-election, of members to roles will be carried out at the upcoming AGM, however the league are looking for an additional volunteers, for the following roles:

  1. Treasurer
  2. Discipline Officer
    • Head the discipline sub committee
  3. Respect, Welfare & Diversity Officer
    • A new role to help manage policies from the FA & developing programs to raise the profile of the league
  4. Club Representative Officer
    • A new role to provide additional club voice(s) on the committee ensuring club opinions are considered during decision making

How Do I Apply?

Anyone who is interested in helping to grow and develop football within our community is welcome to apply and full support and encouragement will be provided.

If you would like to apply for any of the roles, or would like more information, please feel free to email or John Luckhurst or Martyn Rosewell
