The Swindon and District Football League are delighted to announce a brand new sponsor for this seasons cup competition. This season cup competition will be known as the “Up A Ladder” Cup.

Nick Salter is the director of local company, Up A Ladder, and was more than happy to step in to help support the league by sponsoring this years competition when he heard of the opportunity.

Upon deciding to help support grassroots football in Swindon, Nick was pleased to get involved and was full of praise for the committee saying:

“When the opportunity to step in and sponsor the SDFL Cup competition this season, I was delighted to be able to do so.

I’ve played football for many a season in the SDFL and, for the last four seasons, I have been running my own team in the league.

The club has had great success to date, starting off in the old Division 3 and working our way up to the Premier division, where we have been competing for the last two seasons. 

I saw this opportunity as a way to help support the local football community as well as supporting the league committee who spend so much time doing what they can, in order to give Swindon a well organised league in which to play. 

This years cup competition has already proved to be an exciting one and I look forward to seeing which team will go on to lift the Up A Ladder Cup…hopefully it will be my own”

The league committee is really pleased to have Nick and Up A Ladder onboard for this years competition and hope to grow the relationship over the coming years.
