About SDFL

The Swindon & District Community Football League (formed 1891) is a male adult football league based in England.

All clubs are affiliated to the Wiltshire County Football Association, and the league is sanctioned by the County FA each season. The league achieved England Football Accreditation status in May 2023.

The area covered by the competition are clubs who have grounds or headquarters situated within a radius of 30 miles from the Townhall, Swindon.

The league offers a promotion to the Wiltshire County League (step 7) of the National League System pyramid, with one club finishing in the top three places in the Premier Division.

The SDCFL primary cup competition is the Vygon Challenge Cup open to all our clubs.

The George Thomas / Don Rogers Plate competition is open to clubs who lose their opening matches in the Challenge Cup.
